Announcing our collaboration with Ross Halfin and Reel Art Press

Led Zeppelin Vinyl

The Ultimate Collection by Ross Halfin

Ross Halfin is one of this country’s most acclaimed music photographers, with a career beginning in the 1970s. He has an unmatched collection of Led Zeppelin vinyl records, many of which are gathered together and presented in a lavish coffee table book, Led Zeppelin Vinyl: The Ultimate Collection, which was published in August 2021 by Reel Art Press.

Something very special happens when you ‘supersize’ a cherished vinyl record, and that’s exactly what our Temple of Wax service was set up for.

Today we launch a Temple of Wax collaboration with Ross Halfin and Reel Art Press, where we present a number of key pieces from his archives as large format limited edition ChromaLuxe prints.

ChromaLuxe prints are made on aluminium (so have inbuilt structural rigidity) and are renowned for their deeply saturated colours. They look spectacular when the subject is a photograph of a coloured vinyl record, and they have an ultra-high gloss surface which just ‘pops’.  ChromaLuxe is also a perfect method for presenting photographs of objects with unusual shapes — like vinyl records —because they can be cut circular, with the centre hole cut out. The end result is a big shiny 3-D version of a classic record. The image is actually embedded into the surface of the aluminium, and is scratchproof and fireproof. Fixed with a subframe on the reverse, it is ready to hang without additional framing—giving the viewer an immediate up-close relationship with the artwork.

Each limited edition piece comes with a signed COA from Ross Halfin—and we will be supplying a copy of the Led Zeppelin vinyl coffee table book to each purchaser.
