The Rolling Stones by Peter Webb

A collection of authorised limited editions from the Sticky Fingers shoot

Peter Webb photographed The Rolling Stones in a renowned session for their Sticky Fingers album in his London studio in 1971. He then promptly mislaid his negatives for almost forty years. When they were reunited, we celebrated the happy event with a gallery exhibition for Peter, and a few years later, published a beautiful large-format limited edition book of his photographs.

Sadly and unexpectedly, Peter passed away in 2021. At that point we removed Peter’s work from general sale, while the Webb family decided on how best to proceed with the archive and best honour his legacy. I am thrilled to announce that Peter’s family has now authorised us to offer a selection of posthumous estate-approved limited editions of his work to collectors.

This fabulous body of work include some images never offered as limited editions before, alongside some familiar favourites. The beauty of this posthumous collection is that each image can be made in a bespoke size to suit your precise space requirements.

Modern printing technology is moving fast, and at a scale. It is now possible to produce photographs in sizes up to 94 inches high—that’s 244cm, or just under 9 feet—if you have the space to pull it off.
