Dennis Morris’s work is well known to clients of the gallery. We have hosted exhibitions of his Bob Marley and Marianne Faithfull photographs in the past, and his Sex Pistols images are internationally acclaimed.

Stone Roses: This Is The One

Less well known, because he hasn’t told anyone until now, is that Dennis photographed The Stone Roses at the peak of their powers at two of their seminal gigs (Glasgow Green and Spike Island) and also in the studio. A new limited edition book, THIS IS THE ONE, puts these images in the public domain for the first time.

THIS IS THE ONE is a limited edition of 1,000 copies worldwide, each one signed by Dennis Morris. This deluxe hardback book comes in a clam shell case with a signed limited edition black and white print of the band from one of Dennis’s studio sessions. It costs £295, and copies are in stock, available to order now.

A new limited edition photograph: Ian Brown holding the globe

To coincide with the release of the book, Dennis is offering, for the first time, a limited edition of his (and our) favourite image, which shows Ian Brown at Spike Island, holding a globe. I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that this was the inspiration for the globe Noel is holding on Definitely Maybe, but that’s another story. This signed limited edition Ian Brown photograph comes in two sizes in small limited editions of just 15 in each size. You can view price and size options here
