Shot by Duffy in 1965 for John Lennon’s book John Lennon: an anthology of Lennon’s poetry. This photograph appeared on the rear cover and the book was designed by Alan Aldridge who nicknamed himself ‘The man with the Kaleidoscope Eyes’ from the Beatles song ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’. John frequently stopped by to see Duffy at home and once asked ‘Can I bring my mate Ringo in..?’

    An archival pigment print on Fuji Baryte paper, a posthumous Duffy estate authorised limited edition of 35 in this 18 x 34 inch image size. Price for unframed photograph excluding VAT. This is the David Bowie Aladdin Sane original full length album centre gatefold image, made by Duffy in London in 1973. This double sleeve was only produced for a limited number of copies of the album. Later record pressings were only available as a single sleeve.
  • This photo was taken by Duffy in 1965 after the Beatles had returned to the UK from playing at the Shea Stadium New York that had been the highlight of their U.S. tour. Lennon had picked up this box in a New York novelty store which had been sold to him as a ‘UFO detector.’ It had lights that went on and off intermittently and he brought it to Duffy’s studio for the amusement of the studio team.
