All in picture sleeves of course. What a great way to spend a Sunday. This beautiful new limited edition artwork by Ben the Illustrator is available to purchase in a choice of sizes. The two smaller sizes (small and medium) are archival pigment prints on paper, and prices for these are shown unframed. We can quote you for a frame if you would like us to organise framing/delivery. Just let us know when you put your order in for an unframed print, and we will confirm the cost—which will vary depending on the size, type of glass and your location. Large and Ultra-large sizes are ChromaLuxe prints on high-gloss coated aluminium. ChromaLuxe prints are the absolute perfect match for Ben’s vibrant artworks. If you haven’t seen a ChromaLuxe print before, you are in for a treat. They have an ultra-high-gloss finish, with richly saturated colours and a jewel-like appearance. The technique uses a process called dye-sublimation to fuse the image directly on to a 1.25 mm thick panel of white-coated aluminium—which gives them in-built structural rigidity. They hang straight on the wall without additional framing because there is a special subframe on the reverse—this allows the artwork to hang on the wall while appearing to float. The plan was to keep the front cover simple: a full-length band shot with a vibrant yellow vinyl-covered background, sprayed with the now familiar Jam logo. In Spines #7 Paul Weller, Keith Haynes recreates the spines of fifty five 12-inch singles and albums by The Jam, The Style Council and Paul Weller. This is not a photograph – it is a drawing that Keith makes from scratch, painstakingly recreating and combining each spine into the overall artwork. There are two versions of Spines #7 Paul Weller: a smaller version with a 50 x 50 cm image printed on 66 x 66 cm paper, which can be supplied framed or unframed. The second option is a larger 90 x 90 cm image size (with no white border around the image) which is mounted on dibond and supplied in a black tray frame, ready to hang.

Available in one size only, with the image area (including rebate) measuring 11 x 11 inches. A limited edition of 50 in this size, signed and numbered by Martyn Goddard. Martyn remembers: “For the “Down in the Tube Station at Midnight” single sleeve, we decided to shoot on location. We chose Bond Street tube station on the Central line, mainly, I think, because Bill Smith knew the station well as it was on his daily commute. The shoot took place on 12 September 1978. We waited until late evening before our raid on the station. This was going to be a quick one because we didn’t have permission. I used a 35mm Nikon camera with fast black and white film, pushed to the limit without a tripod, hence the resulting grainy images. The band stood at the end of the platform and I waited until a speeding train emerged out of the tunnel before pressing the shutter. The session for "News of the World" took place on 9 February 1978, and was Martyn Goddard's first shoot with the band outside the studio environment. Martyn recalls: “The shoot was necessarily short due to the cold outdoor location and the group members complaining at the early start and lack of breakfast. As luck would have it I knew the area well because my father-in law ran a business in adjacent Beak Street. He was the fount of all knowledge when it came to local cafés.
