Mike Leale shot record sleeves in the Sixties, most notably for The Kinks.

Born and bred in Guernsey, Mike started working as a photographer for the local newspaper just after leaving school.

Two years later he moved to London where, after working as an assistant in a large studio, he opened his own place in Covent Garden.

He shot many record covers including The Kinks’ “Something Else by The Kinks” and “Sunny Afternoon”.
