Chromaluxe printing is an archivally stable process that produces prints with outstanding depth and an ultra-high-gloss finish. The technique uses a process called dye sublimation to fuse the image directly on to a 1.2mm panel of white-coated aluminium. The resulting print has richly saturated colours and a jewel-like appearance. A subframe on the reverse allows the print hang on the wall while appearing to float. Additional framing and glazing is not required (as ChromaLuxe has a scratchproof surface) but can be arranged as an option. The standard unframed version is supplied ready to hang directly on the wall, as it is comes with a sub-frame on the reverse. The effect is that the artwork appears to float just off the wall. There are no delivery charges on the basic unframed (but ready to hang) version, wherever you are in the world. The Temple of Wax is a bespoke service, and we can recreate your chosen record in any size up to 100cm diameter. Also included with the Deluxe Edition is a 10 x 9 inch limited edition print – 250 copies worldwide – of the single cover artwork to Supersonic. Each print has been individually numbered and signed by Michael Spencer Jones and matches the edition number of the book. Alongside these two specially signed artworks, the Deluxe Edition also comes with a rare and previously unpublished 10 x 8 inch black & white contact sheet from the Definitely Maybe album cover shoot and is from the photographer’s own personal archive. All three prints can be displayed and framed separately or can remain protected within the presentation clamshell box.
