Limited edition book in leather cover, 32.4 x 43.2 cm, 514 pages; in an aluminum engine-inspired case designed by Marc Newson, with a sculptural chromed-steel bookstand, 55 x 57 x 110 cm.

Limited to 250 signed and numbered copies, the handcrafted leather-bound and hand-stitched Art Edition is enclosed in a Ferrari motor–inspired case designed by Marc Newson. Made of cast aluminum, the chrome has been sandblasted with powder to preserve the metal’s natural feel, while the top of the case has been finished using Ferrari’s own red varnish, the same as that used on their engines.

The Art Edition (No. 1–250) is elevated by a sculpture evocative of the 12-cylinder engine in hand-bent, flared chromed steel, also by Newson. Made of chromed steel, the bookstand’s legs are joined together using tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, a process that produces stronger, high-quality welds, typical in the automotive industry.

This luxury edition offers unrestricted access to hundreds of photographs from the Ferrari archives, and from private collectors, to reveal the full story behind the Cavallino Rampante.

Also available as a Collectors Edition (No. 251–1,947), signed by Piero Ferrari.
