W.C Fields supposedly recommended never working with children or animals. Charlie Chaplin didn’t agree.

On 16 February 2019, at 5pm UK time we release the second in our series of limited edition photographs from key Charlie Chaplin films.

In January we launched the series with a collection from his first feature length movie, The Kid. For February we focus on Charlie Chaplin’s inaugural film for First National, A Dog’s Life, released in 1918—a little over 100 years ago.

You can read all about the Charlie Chaplin 130th anniversary project, which continues each month throughout 2019, here.
