We are now taking orders for David Bailey, the incredible new SUMO-sized (50x70cm/ 20 x 27.5 inches) retrospective from Taschen celebrating one of the world’s most influential photographers.

David Bailey is widely acknowledged as one of the founding fathers of contemporary photography, and his early work helped both define and capture 1960s London.

Gathering portraits from the 1950s to the 2010s, this beautiful new 440 page book includes over 300 subjects as varied as Nelson Mandela, the Beatles, the Queen, Salvador Dalí, Bill Gates, and Yves Saint Laurent, all printed big and bold, in Bailey’s signature style.

The Collector’s Edition (numbers 301–3,000), each numbered and signed by David Bailey, comes with its own bookstand designed by Marc Newson. Each edition comes with a set of four interchangeable book jackets featuring John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Jean Shrimpton, Mick Jagger, and Andy Warhol.

It is also available in four Art Editions of 75 copies each (numbers 1–300) with signed 20×24 inch limited edition photographs of John Lennon and Paul McCartney (1–75), Jean Shrimpton (76–150), Mick Jagger (151–225), and Andy Warhol (226–300).

Deliveries start in April, and we are taking pre-orders now.

The Lennon and McCartney Art Edition and the Mick Jagger Art Edition are now sold out, Jean Shrimpton and Andy Warhol are still available.
