Don't buy a Hendrix photograph this year until you have seen this exhibition!

Stick a date in your diary - Saturday 18 September 2010. It might seem a long long way off - because it is - but it really is worth keeping free.

This is the launch date for our Jimi Hendrix extravaganza at the gallery. This is going to be some experience. We'll be using all three floors of the gallery space, and creating a different mood in each one. The downstairs space in particular is going to be spectacular.  Timed to coincide with the launch of a beautiful new book of Jimi Hendrix photographs by Gered Mankowitz, this exhibition features an unbelievable collection of work by Gered that will have your eyeballs fizzing and popping.

Gered Mankowitz will be at the gallery all day on the opening Saturday, sharing his stories behind these incredible photographs, and signing copies of his (by then) newly published book.

There is also a very interesting looking Hendrix show going on at Handel House at the same time which you should check out that day.
