Have you been to Dyland?
Boss fans are still going nuts for Aaron's beautiful Bruceville print, and now he's turned his talents to Bob Dylan, creating his latest limited edition print. "Dyland" is a lighthearted look at lower Manhattan and beyond - perfect for the Dylan fan in your life, or you. It is in stock now and ready to go.
This is the second in what is shaping up to be a great series of limited edition prints by renowned New York based illustrator Aaron Meshon.
The first, Greetings from Bruceville name-checked a selection of new Jersey references from songs by The Boss. To coincide with Barry Feinstein's Bob Dylan exhibition in May, Aaron has created a special map of New York City for us, referencing important NYC Dylan locations.
So now here is Dyland. Taking its centre point as (Positively) Fourth Street, it includes many obvious and not so obvious references. So as with the Bruceville map of New Jersey, we don't recommend you use this map to get yourself around lower Manhattan. We do recommend that you frame it up and hang it on your wall and enjoy finding and interpreting all the visual symbols and references.
Aaron is making a limited edition of 150 individually signed and numbered archival pigment prints on Hahnemuhle fine art paper, measuring 13 x 19 inches. The image size is 11 x 17.5 inches. Each one is made personally by Aaron in his studio, and signed, numbered and titled on the front under the image.
