Bruce Springsteen
A love of Bruce runs deep in our veins. We represent many of the photographers who made the most iconic and instantly recognisable photographs of Bruce Springsteen:
Eric Meola, who made the cover photograph on Bruce Springsteen's landmark 1975 album Born to Run: one of the most famous images in the history of rock 'n' roll. We are delighted to be able to offer exclusive limited editions from Eric’s amazing archive to collectors. We hosted Eric’s first ever exhibition of Bruce Springsteen photographs at the gallery in 2006, to worldwide acclaim. A follow up exhibition in our London gallery in August 2010 focused on Eric's photographs from the Darkness on the Edge of Town period.
Frank Stefanko, who made the cover photographs on Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River. Frank's photographs were the subject of a major exhibition at the gallery in 2007.
David Michael Kennedy, who made the bleak yet beautiful cover photograph on 1982’s Nebraska. David is a master platinum/palladium printer, and makes exquisite limited edition palladium prints of his Bruce Springsteen photographs in his studio.
Lynn Goldsmith, who has created some eye-popping artworks called 'Rock Mosaics' which feature thousands of individual images of Bruce Springsteen, painstakingly assembled by hand to create a single larger image. If you haven't come across these before, you really should check them out.
Barbara Pyle, who made Intimate behind the scenes photographs from 1975 of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band recording Born To Run, rehearsing and touring. Barbara's photographs are being offered to collectors for the very first time.
Aaron Meshon, last but by no means least, a brilliant New York City illustrator who has made a fantastic Boss inspired map of New Jersey.
We hope you enjoy looking through the photographs.
