I had intended to get this posted before Father’s Day in the UK, so I’m a few days late, but bear with me! Pixies fans will of course know this as the cover photograph from the Boston band’s first full length album, Surfer Rosa, released in 1988.
As a very elegant French couple put it to me when we had this up on the gallery wall recently, "Zeeze boobs are perfect, non?".
Of course, I had to say "Oui".
