Positively Dyland
Exclusive limited edition print by Aaron Meshon
This is the second in what is shaping up to be a great series of limited edition prints by renowned New York based illustrator Aaron Meshon. The first, Greetings from Bruceville name-checked a selection of new Jersey references from songs by The Boss. To coincide with Barry Feinstein's Bob Dylan exhibition in May, Aaron has created a special map of New York City for us, referencing important NYC Dylan locations. So here is Dyland, alongside. Taking its centre point as (Positively) Fourth Street, it includes many obvious and not so obvious references.
So as with the Bruceville map of New Jersey, we don't recommend you use this map to get yourself around lower Manhattan. We do recommend that you frame it up and hang it on your wall and enjoy finding and interpreting all the visual symbols and references.
