Brian Duffy, along with David Bailey and Terence Donovan, revolutionised photography in the 1960s – and were famously known just by their surnames.

Between 1972 and 1980 Duffy worked with David Bowie on five occasions, creating images that appeared on the cover of three of David Bowie’s albums – Aladdin Sane, Lodger and Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps).
