One of the gallery’s most popular artists, Keith Haynes, celebrates pop culture in many guises, and creates works in vinyl and on paper.
Keith has recently started a series of limited edition prints presenting the Spines of LPs which he painstakingly recreates and combines into each artwork. Spines # 1, the first print in the series, featured a variety of classic LP spines.
Keith has now created a second piece in his Spines series.
In Spines #2 Bowie, Keith recreates the spines of 44 David Bowie albums. It’s a beautiful piece. The colours really pop, and a special varnish over the image area heightens the effect. The spine of Blackstar even has a spot varnish to pick out the detail. Keith is releasing Spines #2 Bowie as a limited edition of 50 signed and numbered prints, in one size only, with an image area measuring 50x50cm / 20×20 inches (paper size 66x66cm / 26×26 inches).
Spines #2 Bowie costs £395 for an unframed print. It’s another great example of an affordable and very collectible piece from Keith.
