Iain Macmillan’s signed, numbered, limited edition photographs of The Beatles will need no introduction to clients of the gallery. Iain passed away in 2006 but his Abbey Road photographs remain our most asked for items. They all sold out when they were originally offered on the primary market, but from time to time we secure examples from collectors looking to sell.
The crown jewel in Iain’s archive is undoubtedly the actual Abbey Road cover image, showing John, Ringo, Paul (all in Tommy Nutter suits) and George (in denim), crossing left to right, with Paul barefoot and holding a cigarette. Produced during his lifetime in an edition of 25, and signed and numbered by Iain on the front under the image area, these cover photographs sold out quickly.
Very occasionally, we acquire an example of the cover image. Now is such a time.
If you are interested in acquiring this important photograph for your collection, or finding out about the other examples we have in inventory from the Abbey Road sessions, please get in touch.
